Apple Releases the Safari Internet Browser for the Windows Platform
The release of the Safari Internet Browser for the Windows platform, is a major bonus for web designers who are trying to design sites that are compatible with many different browsers.

Anyone who has had any experience with web design knows that web pages all display differently when opened in different browsers, and up until now, designers using Windows had to be careful of how their sites looked on a Mac.
Safari is one of the most popular Internet browsers for the Mac, and before its release for Windows, web designers would have to hunt down a Mac user to see what their websites would look like on a Mac. Now, they can check the compatibility of their code for the three most popular browsers - Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari all on a single platform.
Personally, this is a huge development for me, as my closest Mac using acquaintance was in the states, so any problems with my sites could take a while to get back to me, delaying any remedy. Now I can simply open up the three different browsers to check everything is ok.
